Just wrapped up shooting for top outdoor brand Fjällräven this past week to capture their ‘Hong Kong Classic’ that took trekkers on a 3 day journey across Sai Kung. This was my second year working with Fjällräven (see last year’s images here) It was hot work trekking and camping while shooting the journey in a documentary style. I had to go lightweight with gear so used two Sony A7r2 cameras with 2 lenses (Zeiss Baths 85/1.8 & 25/2).

The Fjällräven Classic concept is simple: to encourage and enable more people to get out and enjoy trekking. Then Hong Kong Classic is now one of four different locations around the world: Sweden, Denmark, the US and Hong Kong. I like the concept. It’s not a competition or a race. It’s a chance to socialise with other hikers and enjoy the trek of a lifetime. There is a great community feel with people who share a love for the outdoors.

I have only included 2 images I shot on this assignment. The rest will be available on the Fjällräven sites and social media.
